It was better than the farmed salmon available locally but not as good as the stuff I've bought in the pacific northwest. Also, found the portion size difficult to avoid overcooking because some of it was thick and some of it was thin.

As a fairly new Crowd Cow customer (3 orders to date), I am finally ready to provide some reviews. For background, I spent a 30+ year career in the business of market and public opinion research. Therefore, when thinking about the Crowd Cow offerings, I apply a research approach and rigorously compare them to alternatives. Regarding the scallops... I love scallops. In my hometown, I have a fishmonger who gets true diver-caught scallops flown in fresh the morning after they are caught off the east coast. But the prices are in the stratosphere. So I compared these Bristol Bay scallops to those I can also get frozen from my local Trader Joe's and from my local Safeway. These Crowd Cow scallops are better than Trader Joe's but not as good as I can get at Safeway at a price less than Crowd Cow. This is not to say that they are not good scallops. But why pay more for something that you can buy the equivalent of or better than at a local grocery store? I will not be buying the Bristol Bay scallops again... but your mileage may vary (YMMV), as they say online.

These were the worst scallops ever in terms of sand in the scallops. The size is nice, but every bite had sand. What a disappointment for the money.

Almost the entire filet is tough, and chewy, it’s not the first order. These were cooked completely defrosted per recommendations. Poor quality. Wont buy again.
