taste is due to meat that doesn't have to be chewed it melts in the mouth (for me chewing give flavor) it tastes like eating the fat that is around any steak
One cut, three countries, cooked the same way. A 5 oz A5 tenderloin from Kagoshima, Japan, where the cattle are fullblood Japanese Black and the prefecture took the overall title at the 2017 and 2022 Wagyu Olympics. A 6 oz filet from Margaret River in Western Australia, a Tajima-bloodline cross that grazes to 18 months and then eats grain for 300 days. A 6 oz filet from Mishima Reserve, American Wagyu from fullblood Kuroge Washu bulls over Angus-cross cows, long-fed 25 to 28 months.
Same pan, same salt. Taste them in order, America, then Australia, then Japan, and the only thing that changes is the beef. Serves 2 as dinner or 3 to 4 as a tasting course.

Steak did not to be a true A5 wagyu and also looked to be the scrap end of a tenderloin. I was very disappointed in the quality. The images online certainly do not match the product you are selling.

I wonder why this Steak is so highly sought after.. it tasted just about fine and honestly had a weird smell to it because of the excessive fat content and the flavor profile was nothing too special. It was definitely tender, surely more tender than USDA prime. Most likely not going to order again.

Sorry excuse for “filet mignon”. Don’t waste your money. Go to Snake River Farms and get gold plus wagyu.
A comparison only works when one thing changes. We held the cut, the pan and the salt constant and let genetics, feed and grading do the talking. These are the three Wagyu programs we trust most from each country: Kagoshima for A5 at the top of Japan's scale, Margaret River for Australia's Tajima-bloodline cross, and Mishima Reserve for American Wagyu long-fed past the industry standard. Put them side by side and you will taste why each one costs what it does.
All of our meats are sourced from small, independent farms and fisheries that prioritize animal welfare and environmental sustainability. Enjoy high-quality cuts with a clear conscience.
We provide full transparency about where your food comes from. Every product includes details about the farm, farmer, and sustainable practices, so you know exactly what you're serving.
From Japanese A5 Wagyu to pasture-raised beef, our selection offers premium, restaurant-quality meats not found in grocery stores. Indulge in top-tier cuts that make every meal unforgettable.
